Virtual Infosec Africa has donated a fully equipped, state-of-the-art cybersecurity training laboratory to the Presbyterian University, Ghana, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to cybersecurity education and skills development.
The laboratory features modern computing equipment, cybersecurity simulation tools, and network security training infrastructure that will enable students to gain practical, hands-on experience in cybersecurity.
Bridging the Skills Gap
Ghana, like many countries across Africa, faces a significant cybersecurity skills shortage. VIA's donation aims to address this gap by providing students with access to practical training environments that mirror real-world cybersecurity operations.
The lab will support courses in network security, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and security operations, preparing graduates for careers in the rapidly growing cybersecurity industry.
