Virtual Infosec Africa has commissioned a state-of-the-art cybersecurity laboratory on the University of Ghana campus, furthering its commitment to cybersecurity education and capacity building in the country.
The lab is equipped with industry-standard cybersecurity tools and simulation environments that will enable students to gain hands-on experience in areas such as penetration testing, digital forensics, security operations, and incident response.
Building the Next Generation
This initiative is part of VIA's broader strategy to address the cybersecurity skills gap in Ghana and across Africa. By providing universities with practical training facilities, VIA is helping to prepare the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
"We believe that investing in cybersecurity education is investing in the future security of our nation," said Emmanuel Sekyere Asiedu, CEO of Virtual Infosec Africa.
