Virtual Infosec Africa has set up a dedicated cybersecurity training laboratory at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), one of Ghana's premier universities.
The lab provides KNUST students with access to practical cybersecurity tools and simulation environments, enabling hands-on learning in areas including network security, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and security operations.
Investing in Future Talent
The cybersecurity lab is part of VIA's strategic initiative to address the critical shortage of cybersecurity professionals in Ghana and across Africa. By partnering with leading universities, VIA is helping to create a pipeline of skilled cybersecurity talent.
"KNUST produces some of the best technology graduates in West Africa. By providing them with practical cybersecurity training facilities, we are helping to ensure Ghana has the talent it needs to stay secure in an increasingly digital world," said VIA's CEO.
